CLEANING A VISCOSE-WOOL CARPET

CARE OF VISCOSE-WOOL CARPETS

1. Vacuum gently with a brushless nozzle, using short strokes in one direction. Vacuuming with a brush or turbo nozzle may increase dust on the carpet and prolong the dusting period.
2. A natural characteristic of wool-viscose rugs is that the fibers will shed and pill for the first few months of use. This shedding will diminish over time, but may still occur. This is a natural phenomenon of fibers shedding and occurs during the use of wool-viscose rugs. The pill process can be particularly pronounced in rugs with a sheared pattern and a pile height varying from one another.
3. Dusting is not a basis for a complaint.
4. Viscose-wool rugs are prone to pilling, which is the appearance of small balls of wool on the rug's surface. This is a natural phenomenon where individual wool fibers become loosened from the friction of feet or furniture, clumping into small balls. This is a normal occurrence with everyday use of viscose-wool rugs. Pilling is not grounds for complaint. The balls can be removed periodically by hand or with a shaver.
5. Spilled liquids and dirt should be removed immediately with a paper towel or a moisture-absorbent cloth. Then, gently clean the affected area with a clean cloth soaked in a small amount of cold water and mild soap. Do not allow the carpet to get wet.
6. If the carpet gets wet, dry it flat in a well-ventilated room or outdoors in favorable weather conditions.
7. Do not use chemicals or bleach.
8. To avoid creasing the fleece, move the furniture periodically.
9. Exposure to sunlight may cause the carpet to fade. Avoid direct exposure to strong sunlight.

1. Thanks to the combination of wool and viscose in a 50:50 ratio, the rug retains its properties typical of wool rugs, while thanks to the viscosity, it remains pleasant to the touch and gains a delicate satin sheen.
2. Wool regulates the microclimate in rooms – it absorbs moisture when there is too much of it and releases it when the air becomes too dry.
3. Wool is naturally resistant to dirt and stains due to its natural lanolin content. With proper care, your rug will look great for years to come.
4. Hand-woven rugs made from wool and viscose fibers are highly elastic. They may change shape during use. For example, pulling the rug forcefully or moving furniture across it can cause it to change shape. This change is reversible. Because woven wool and viscose products are naturally elastic, this is normal and not subject to warranty claims.
5. The Handmade collection rugs are handcrafted, mostly from natural fibers, making each one unique and original. As such, slight variations in color, size, or pattern may occur. This does not constitute grounds for complaint.
