How to Decorate a Cozy Bedroom
The bedroom is our oasis of peace. This is where we wind down in the evening, relax and regenerate during sleep. Well-chosen lighting, colours, textiles and furniture will help create an intimate and cosy place. Find out how to arrange such a bedroom and see our inspirations.

Subdued colours that have a calming effect on us and soothe the senses work great in the bedroom. These include earthy colours - calming greys, beiges and browns, blue that helps with falling asleep, muted green and delicate, pastel shades, such as lavender.

Let's take care of choosing the right bed. We spend an average of 7-8 hours a day in it, so it should be well-suited to our needs, comfortable and functional. For healthy and comfortable sleep, the bed should be about 20 cm longer than our height, and each user should have about 70-80 cm of width at their disposal. The height of the bed is also important - the optimal one is about 40-50 cm. Let's also pay attention to the headboard. A soft one, covered with fabric, will allow for comfortable support in a half-sitting position, ideal when we want to read a book before going to sleep. A bed with a headboard will add elegance, sophistication and coziness to the interior. Let's also remember about good quality, delicate bedding, preferably made of natural and breathable materials.
In the bedroom, it is important to use appropriate lighting that will provide delicate illumination of the space and create a mood. Therefore, in this interior, it is worth focusing primarily on floor lamps , table lamps (which we can place on bedside tables or a chest of drawers) and wall lamps .
When decorating a bedroom, let's not forget about textiles, which will not only add coziness to it, but also emphasize the arrangement. The bed is usually the largest and most exposed piece of furniture, so let's make sure it is always beautifully made. Soft blankets, a bedspread and decorative pillows will come in handy for this.
