Authentic Models. For adventure and travel enthusiasts
Authentic Models is a brand that recreates objects from the 17th to the 20th century, inspired by explorers and distant journeys.

Its unique items are made with attention to quality and the smallest details. They will appeal to lovers of adventure and beautiful, hand-made items with a timeless vintage style. The brand was founded 50 years ago by Haring Piebenga, a Dutch travel enthusiast. They inspired him to create unique items - models of ships, planes, globes, replicas of navigation instruments or furniture. Among them we will find both classic and eclectic, stylistically diverse and above all unique.

The Authentic Models nautical collection includes replicas of yachts and ships, such as the 1901 Columbia yacht, made of the highest quality linden wood, a model of the 1937 Ranger yacht, and an incredibly authentic replica of the Titanic, made with the smallest structural elements in mind.
Aviation enthusiasts will be delighted with the aircraft models, including a replica of the 1917 Sopwith Camel - a British, single-person fighter from World War I, the Jenny JN-7H aircraft, the American DC-3 aircraft or the Zeppelin airship, considered the largest passenger airship to sail over the Atlantic Ocean. Such models will be an original and elegant decoration for a living room or office.
The Air Balloon collection consists of decorative balloons made of paper, with a rattan base and basket. The models perfectly reproduce the authentic originals. They do not forget about details, such as the control system or sandbags.
Those fascinated by distant journeys and ancient explorers will be delighted by exceptionally beautiful globes (e.g. an elegant globe with a map from 1921, a small globe that fits in the palm of your hand with a map from 1745 or a decorative globe with a base in the form of Atlas, one of the Greek Titans) and navigation instruments - exact replicas of compasses, telescopes, binoculars or spherical clocks.

Authentic Models furniture collections are primarily solid wooden cabinets, shelves and desks, as well as leather armchairs and stools, referring to the furnishings of old luxury hotels and offices and colonial residences. Among them we will also find wooden chests, stylized as 19th-century travel suitcases and trunks with brass fittings, reminiscent of those that were once taken on ships on deep-sea expeditions.
In addition, the brand also offers unique decorations , such as Venetian carnival masks, wooden figurines or 3D architectural models, modeled on those used by old architects.
