AlmiDécor Outdoor Pigalle

The anodized aluminum frame, resistant to corrosion by sea spray, harmonizes with UV-resistant synthetic rope, woven into a distinctive basketweave pattern. The internal structure of the seats, molded from foam, allows for simultaneous air and water flow, ensuring the furniture maintains a soothing freshness even after a summer downpour.

Pigalle arose from observations of Mediterranean boulevards, where modernist steel balustrades meet sun-dried fishing nets. The furniture's aluminum frame creates a single, continuous line—flowing like a calligraphic gesture—that suspends the seat above the floor, reminiscent of a yacht's railing or the contours of a Riva gondola. The hoop-shaped base seamlessly transitions from the legs to the tread, weaving Bauhaus dynamism with the organic softness of pebbles. This sculptural yet understated silhouette exudes an awareness of materiality and a desire for visual lightness.

Stół tarasowy Pigalle z krzesłami przy basenie

The oval basalt composite tabletop is suspended on two cylindrical plinths, the vertical grooves of which correspond to the weave of the backrests. It's a kind of archipelago: the massive bases function as "islands," while a thin slab—like a water surface—connects them visually, correcting the proportions and offering a holistic balance between weight and lightness.

The designers studied the cross-sections of classic RIB hulls and the angle at which the rope wraps the cleat, hence the absence of sharp angles and the presence of softly modeled rays. The braid pattern is based on analysis of traditional olive basket weaving, translated into a modern, highly UV-resistant polypropylene rope. It's a conscious modulation of craft heritage, translated into the language of contemporary outdoor use.

Pigalle proves that sustainable design can be both sophisticated and pragmatic: the aluminum body is easily recycled, and replaceable covers extend the collection's lifespan. However, it's the emotional code of the form—the association with the arch of a breakwater, the wind sweeping through nets, the warmth of stone—that makes the set truly transformative. Just one look is enough to feel the soothing sound of the sea, even if the piece is placed on a rooftop in the city center.
