TENCEL RUG CARE

1. Vacuum regularly using a hard floor nozzle, moving in the direction of the pile.
2. Tencel fibers are naturally lustrous and smooth to the touch, so the vacuum suction should not be too strong to prevent the pile from becoming excessively slippery.
3. A natural characteristic of Tencel rugs is pilling, where fibers emerge from the pile. Pilling can be particularly pronounced in cut rugs and rugs with cut patterns, where the pile height varies.
4. Some fibers may protrude halfway. These fibers should be trimmed with scissors.
5. Tencel fibers react poorly to water and liquids. Spilled liquids should be blotted immediately with a paper towel or highly absorbent cloth. Then, lift the pile with your fingers, straighten it, and arrange it in the same direction as the rest of the rug's dry pile. If Tencel fibers are not straightened and properly arranged, they may retain their old position as they dry. The pile in the area of the spill/stain may lose its resilience and reflect light differently after being cleaned with water and dried. As a result, the area where a water-cleaned stain was may differ in appearance from the rest of the rug. This is a natural property of Tencel products. Therefore, only professional rug cleaning is permitted, at establishments with experience in cleaning viscose rugs, preferably using dry cleaning methods.
6. If the rug gets wet, dry it flat in a well-ventilated room or outdoors in favorable weather conditions.
7. To prevent the pile from becoming creased, move the furniture periodically.
8. Do not use chemical agents or bleach.
9. Exposure to sunlight may cause the rug to fade. Avoid direct exposure to strong sunlight.

1. Tencel is an innovative, next-generation fiber made from wood cellulose that mimics silk. This remarkable fiber is as delicate as silk but as durable as polyester. Its fibers have an exceptionally smooth surface and low stiffness. Tencel also has excellent antibacterial and antiallergic properties. It is an excellent alternative to silk products, retaining their natural properties, such as an elegant luster and a velvety feel against the skin.
2. Tencel is a highly eco-friendly material, partly because only organic substances are used in its production and because it uses very little water. It is also 100% biodegradable.
3. Handmade Tencel rugs are characterized by their resilience. During use, rugs may slightly change shape. For example, pulling hard on the rug or moving furniture across it may cause a slight change in its shape/outline. This change is reversible. Because rugs made with Tencel fibers are naturally resilient, this is a normal occurrence and is not subject to complaint.
4. Rugs from the Handmade collection are made by hand, mostly from natural fibers, so each one is original and unique. For this reason, there may be slight differences in color, size, or pattern. This is not grounds for complaint.
