The Haiku II chair is a more elaborate version of the Haiku model, enhanced with armrests that provide additional support and comfort. The carefully balanced ash wood construction gives it visual lightness, while the seat and backrest made of natural vegetable-tanned leather emphasize the noble character of the design. It is a model with a calm, timeless form that fits well both at a table and in lounge areas.
About the Haiku collection
The Haiku collection is inspired by the Japanese art of short poetic forms, which in a few lines can capture the fleetingness of a moment, emotion, and the rhythm of nature. Like haiku, the furniture in this collection is based on simplicity, balance, and a focus on what is most essential.
The collection is also inspired by Mizuta Masahide's classic haiku:
"My house burned down. Now I can see the moon."
This simple poem becomes a metaphor for mindfulness, tranquility, and perceiving beauty in what is seemingly imperfect. Designers CarlesiTonelli created a collection that does not dominate the space but subtly builds its mood. It is a proposition for interiors where harmony, naturalness, and timeless form are valued.
