Vacuum gently, on a low power setting, preferably with a nozzle without an active rotating brush.
Every now and then, rotate the rug or move the furniture to reduce localized pile compression.

Do not rub or soak stains – immediately blot the liquid with a white, absorbent cloth.
Machine washing and self-washing the entire surface; deep cleaning should be entrusted to a professional carpet cleaning service.

CLEANING WOOL CARPETS

CARE OF WOOL CARPETS

Vacuum gently with a nozzle without a brush, using short strokes in one direction. Vacuuming with a brush attachment or a turbo brush may increase carpet shedding and extend the shedding period.
A natural characteristic of wool carpets is "shedding" wool during the first few months of use. Shedding will decrease later but may still occur. This is a natural phenomenon where fibers come out of the carpet and appears with the exploitation of wool carpets. Shedding is not a basis for complaint.
A characteristic of wool carpets is pilling, which is the appearance of small wool balls on the carpet surface. This is a natural phenomenon where individual wool fibers are released from the carpet due to rubbing by feet/furniture and gather into balls. This is a normal phenomenon that occurs with daily use of wool carpets. Pilling is not a basis for complaint. The balls can be removed periodically by hand or with a fabric shaver.
Spilled liquids and dirt should be immediately removed with a paper towel or a highly absorbent cloth, then gently clean the stained area with a clean cloth soaked in a small amount of cold water with grey soap. Do not allow the carpet to get wet.
If the carpet gets wet, dry it flat in a well-ventilated room or outdoors in favorable weather conditions.
Do not use chemicals or bleaches.
To avoid indentations in the pile, periodically move furniture.
Exposure of the carpet to sunlight may cause fading. Avoid direct exposure to strong sunlight.

GOOD TO KNOW

Wool regulates the microclimate in rooms – it absorbs moisture when there is too much and releases it when the air becomes too dry.
Wool is naturally resistant to dirt and stains due to its natural lanolin content. The carpet will look good for many years with proper care.
Hand-woven wool fiber carpets are characterized by high flexibility. Carpets may change their shape during use. For example, strong pulling of the carpet or moving furniture across the carpet may cause it to change shape. This change is reversible. As braided wool products are naturally stretchable, this is a normal phenomenon and is not subject to complaint.
Carpets from the Handmade collection are hand-made, mostly from natural fibers, so each of them is original and unique. For this reason, there may be slight differences in color, size, or pattern between them. This is not a basis for complaint.

Odcień może wyglądać nieco inaczej w zależności od światła w pomieszczeniu, ustawień ekranu oraz kierunku ułożenia włókien. Jest to szczególnie widoczne w dywanach zawierających wiskozę lub Tencel, których powierzchnia delikatnie odbija światło. Przed wyborem warto obejrzeć zarówno zdjęcia aranżacyjne, jak i zbliżenia struktury dywanu.

Czy gubienie pojedynczych włókien przez nowy dywan jest normalne?

Tak. W początkowym okresie użytkowania dywany zawierające wełnę mogą uwalniać luźne włókna pozostałe po procesie produkcji.
